Optimizing posture and movement.
For the past 12 years I’ve had a long love and passion for Structural Integration. I’ve received training in the 10 sessions in 2 different styles. Fascia is a huge component to releasing the patterns we hold in our body. Holding patterns present themselves differently in every person. My job is to help solve this tension puzzle and get your body to function at its optimal capacity. I’ll also work on repatterining your daily movements and stagnate positions, it’s critical to opening the fascial lines and bands.
I strive to function from a place of humanity, kindness, and strong ethical core. I uphold the highest standards of equity and fairness. I do my best to give everyone around me the empathy we all so often need, and the kindness that is too often in short supply in this busy world.
I’m a mom to two young children and I love board games and being outside.

Structural Integration
Structural Integration is a type of bodywork that is focused on the connective tissue or fascia. Fascia wraps around individual muscle fibers, muscles, muscle groups, organs and nerves. Its function is to keep things is place while allowing you to move freely. Just like your musculature, fascia can also get shorter, tighter and denser with repetitive movements or injury. Tightened fascia pulls our skeleton out of alignment which causes pain, discomfort and fatigue. With this type of bodywork, we’re able to get these layers to peel apart, getting the elasticity back and allowing better overall function.
Structural integration is done with little to no product. We also use viewing clothes which are shorts ending above the knee for men and shorts and a sports bra for women. Viewing clothes are needed for we will be observing your range of motion or asking you to move while performing a stroke.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massages are used to break up scar tissue and break down muscle adhesions (the “knots” that we feel in our muscles are muscle adhesions, which are bands of rigid and painful muscle tissue). These knots can inhibit our circulation and cause pain and inflammation, making movement and function more difficult.
Prenatal and Postnatal
In pregnancy one’s body and mind go through huge shifts. Massage and bodywork tailored to this amazing process can be an incredible aide.

C-Section
I have worked with a multitude of different injuries. From sports injuries to surgery's I believe there is a way to help your recovery process.
Cupping
Cupping helps in a wide variety of ways. The main way I use them is to change your fascia. The cup lifts up tissue creating negative pressure and opens up stuck layers, helping to increase range of motion and relax a muscle stuck in over use or wake up a muscle not doing it’s job. It also helps with blood flow, expel waste build up, increase lymph flow. Overall helping a tight area to relax and bring ease to the myofascial layers.
"Form and function are a unity, two sides of one coin. In order to enhance function, appropriate form must exist or be created."
